If you see uslu airlines published anywhere, no matter how small, please send an email to crew at usluairlines.com. We can't cover the globe alone. With your help, we can. Thanks.
(Below is pretty much old stuff... see, even back in the day, we scored some pretty good pages all around!)
BEST FASHION, Hamburg, 09-2006
Our first mention in a strictly male (and hardly gay) magazine. They place our self tanner right above Vertu and LV in their 'Must-Haves Top 10' Wintermärchen Trends for men. Fine. This could be a move into a new direction for uslu airlines. A spin off for male pilots only, a shaving cream, maybe. Why not? Thanks for the idea, guys!
BIBA, Paris, 05-2006
Just (just?) about a nail polish, and then a full page? Justify that! Well, the destination is TIA - tirana rinas', our best selling shade at Colette after all, and that, in some out (of) their minds, would vow for a double page even. No, no, just kiddin. We are happy. We have never seen before a nail polish going out of Satzspiegel. Have you? That's right.

psychopedia.com, New York, 04-2006

Sonntagszeitung, Zürich, 03-2006
While we were skiing with Helmut near Geneva, Bettina in Zürich wrote up this nice piece on us. In German. At least almost.
BON international, Stockholm, 03-2006
Elsa's English is better than her Swedish. To read for us it is. And the text is so well phrased, it would be a shame to cut down on the pleasure by personal lingo shortcomings. Oh ja, the pictures are very nice too. We like Feride dancing the silver chair at the 3Asfour studio in Chinatown. Do you?
BON, Stockholm, 03-2006
Same story as above (I believe), slightly different layout, still 3 pages. But who wants to read Swedish? That's what I thought. And that's what the smart sweds at Bon thought, when they came out with their international edition. So look, but don't read. It might hurt your soft Knäckebrot otherwise.
re-quest/QJ, Tokyo, 03-2006
A full 14 pages exclusively on uslu airlines in Japan's leading professional salon magazine with 8 hundred thousand sold copies each month. They know what they are talking about. And we are not even in the asian market yet. Maybe it is getting about time now?
Ryoko, Tokyo, 03-2006
Again Japan. This time we only share a page with a sum-it-up of houshold cosmetic names. Heard it, had it. And who looks best? That's right.
Diane, a shaded view on fashion, Paris, 03-2006
Diane looks at it all from her very own personal perspective. Always worth the read. Bookmark!

Finally, the prophet is heard among his very own home audience... Jan grew up in Offenbach. And -as written here- always enjoys coming back. Plus some more nice insights on uslu airlines management.
(We are late uploading the press from 2003, 2004 and 2005. We were kind of bored of all the press for while, sorry: Vogue/Italia, Glamour/Italia, Nylon/Japan, JuliB/USA, Vogue/España, CultureLuxe/Paris, Joy/Deutschland, Trendy/Warsaw, WestEast/HongKong, TorontoStar/Canada, WirtschaftsWoche/Deutschland, InStyle/USA, Surface/USA, DEWI/Jakarta, Honey/USA, TravelSavvy/USA, CityTV/Canada... )

DAZED & CONFUSED online, Tokyo, 07-2003
Dazed couple Feride and Jan on the cover of #1, great picture by Richard Phibbs. FYI: we are confused, too! Sometimes.

Radikal, Istanbul, 07-07-2003
In Türkish, Uslu Airlines is "Uslu Havayollari". To read the entire article on Feride's American Dream, you will have to know slightly more than that, though. Good luck!
Harper's Bazaar, New York, 07-2003
Obsession is a good motivator for editors. The note may be not as big as some others on uslu airlines, but her message is grand!
Elle, New York, 07-2003
Elle announces the arrival of prime-time looks at anyone's home. Does that mean we can turn the TV off now? Please.

s-woman.net, Japan, 06-2003
Non-No trend scout Hira Moto spots us at Barney's....
W, New York, 06-2003
On the cover next to Sarah Jessica Parker and then a full page feature story inside. Great shot by Richard Pierce. This is getting better and better.

They've got it down, too: "...additions to the trendy cosmetics scene we think youll be seeing more of..."

TODAY SHOW, NBC, New York, 05-15-2003
On national TV! Style watcher Seven Cojocaru on the couch with Katie Couric, Al Roker and Cab Driver. Together they have some tempting suggestions for 'un-common' uses of our airbrush...

French, revue de modes, Paris, Spring 2003
We only have a picture in here, even the caption is incomplete, but the picture is very big and so French good.
TIME OUT, Istanbul, 05-2003
This is all rave about Feride the Übertürkin, and secondary only on uslu airlines. We love it, so what's the difference? Cover, 3 page article, full page picture by Gabriel Eid. No, we are not selling in Istanbul (yet).

ELLE (printed issue), Paris, 04-2003
A great full page and then a 2nd entry into their top-50-for-été-list. Merci beaucoup!
VOGUE, Nippon, 04-2003
They really ran 2 (!) stories on us in the same issue. That's a new one. But, honestly, we don't understand a word... do you?
TRACE, Brooklyn, 04-2003
I have 3 words for you: Big, Bold, Brooklyn.
A full f#*ing picture page, Kaori's makeup and then CC's writing to go with it - top that, baby!
PAPER, New York, 04-2003
Not even an article, just a short note. Normally we wouldn't even report such small press because we don't have that kind of space and you don't have that kind of patience. But we are fans of Mr. Mickey.

NEWSWEEK international, 03-2003
Our favourite Liz Krieger reporting from Paris.

themode.tv. Paris, 03-2003
Yes! It's TV. You will need the free realplayer plug in from www.real.com to view it, but it's worth it.

After all, this is Paper's Fashion Schmashion issue, of course.

VOGUE, Lisboa, 02-2003
Susana (Vogue's beauty editor in Lisboa) told us that she is a "aviation addict", and it shows: we are featured in a whole section on flying and beauty. It fits.
Jalouse, Paris, 02-2003
Even though JALOUSE got it wrong a little bit, they still liked it enough to print an entire page. It's fine by us.
VOGUE.com, Paris, 02-2003
As you know, of course, Vogue/Paris has their offices almost across the street from Colette. Location, location, location!

fashion-job.com, Paris, 02-2003
Very nice pictures of our counter at Colette.
ZURBAN, Paris, 02-2003
We did not get the title picture (that's a first), but the article is long and French.
DS magazine, Paris, 02-2003
We apologize: this article is sooooo big that we had to put it upright in order to protect our site's layout. You can not read it unless you are an acrobat. You will surely understand our "pro cosmetic" attitude.

Elle.fr, Paris, 01-2003
A first Parisian reaction to our launch at Colette. Straight from the heart.

LStyleReport.com, Carlsbad, Fall-2002

Fashion-dot-net names us "Pick of September" and we get flooded with visitors: over a Million and change hits with 140,000+ page views! That's double what we normally have.
b-guided>, Barcelona, 07-2002
The first Spanish story on uslu airlines. They translated it into English on the next page and it still sounds good to us. Thanks. With 5 great pictures by KT Auletta.
BIBA, Paris, 04-2002
This one is again in French, obviously. But don't you worry, the text is so short, you won't even notice. Nice picture though, and they labelled us number 1 "revolutionaire".
purple, Paris, 03-2002
8 full pages of uslu airlines in purple's beauty section. Great t-shirts by maryweather.com. And look just at those models: Judy, Erica and Feride, shot by Banu. Simply have to love them.
DUTCH, Amsterdam/Paris, 01-2002
A kind of small article - but does size matter? It's sharply written by Glenn Belverio and we are very proud of it! Just love the headline. Great illustration by Ali Cindoruk.
The Fader, NY, 09-2001
Aggressive and straight to the point. Just as we like it. With a great double page shot of a captain and percerettes in uniforms.
VOGUE, Paris, 09-2001
En français, of course, and in English (translated by Vogue). The French know what they talk about when they label us "une révolution..."
AD Magazine, Amsterdam, 08-2001
3 full pages, plenty of pictures and all in Netherlands lingo (not translated yet). We don't understand a word, but it sounds good enough. See for yourself..."
PAPER magazine, NY, 06-2001
Wow! Someone was really pissed about the prior article below. Pissed enough at least to write this letter to Paper. Our first hatemail!
