(...) Then I popped into Colette and was BOWLED OVER by this new product that I've heard so much about, but never seen in real life. It's a makeup airbrush, by Uslua Airlines. Y'know how new technology gadgets never work as well as they say they do. This one is AMAZING. You put a few drops of pigments into the tiny airbrush and then spray it on your face. It takes 10 seconds to apply and you get the most even and light coverage…I look like I had been photoshopped. It was insanely effective. It's 450€ for the appliance and 30€ for each tube of pigment. I need to sell a slew of possessions on eBay so that I can afford the new Uslu Airlines airbrush. I've been obsessing about it all weekend.
I know I'm super susceptible to any and all trendy new beauty products, but usually, my burning desire flames up and then gently burns out when I realize that the last thing I need is another crème, mask, nail polish, or lipstick.
BUT THIS IS DIFFERENT!!!
I can not say enough good about this product. After merely one demonstration, I have become this apostlizing, ranting, fanatic. Even my superfancy squirrel hair brushes make eyeshadow look like off-road vehicle tire tracks across my eyelids instead of gentle sweeps of color. I've suddenly become intolerant to the feel of more than 3 drops of color on my face. And nothing but perfectly even coverage will do. I want to look like my complexion has been Photoshopped every day!
I'm all worked up in a consumer tizzy. If I don't get a Uslu Airlines airbrush, I will CERTAINLY DIE. (...) full article
